For the second year running, Category 1 are proud to announce that they will be 2010 Elle Style Awards security partners as part of many projects that Category 1 are covering throughout London Fashion Week.

February 2010

X-FACTOR, LIVE FINALS

For the third year in succession Category 1 was contracted by Fountain television studios to secure and cover all aspects of security to visiting production the X-Factor.

MARITIME SECURITY, GULF OF ADEN

Category 1 has now been contracted to provide a four man security team on board super-yachts transiting through the pirate infested waters of the Gulf of Aden, off the Somali coastline. These multi-million pound yachts now house a specialist team of former Royal Marine Commandos (SSO*) to protect them and their crews whilst on their way down to the sunnier climates of the Maldives and Seychelles.

BURBERRY CLOSING PARTY, LONDON FASHION WEEK 25th ANNIVERSARY

Category 1 was contracted to provide over 75 security officers to secure two venues throughout this remarkable event. To totally secure the parade ground of Chelsea College of Art and Design, home to the show and Burberry's headquarters, home to the after-party. We also provided Close Protection Officers and a mini-fleet of luxury vehicles to Burberry VIP celebrity guests over the duration of the entire project.

THE SERPENTINE SUMMER PARTY

The Serpentine Summer Party is THE number one event in London’s social calendar. It is the biggest gathering of elite artists and key public figures from art, fashion and music.

Category 1 have been contracted to cover and secure this event for the last three years.
